Sizing Options

Getting the size right is pivotal in any industrial application. But it's not just about size; knowing the correct dimensions and shape is equally crucial.

For Single Blade Dampers, we're able to work with the following:

  • Minimum 100mm Diameter.
  • Maximum 3000mm Diameter.
  • Circular, Square, and Rectangular shapes.
  • Transition sections.
  • Pipe sizes and flanges.

Our dedication to precision extends to custom manufacturing, ensuring each Damper aligns perfectly with specific needs and requirements.

Materials

We understand that different applications may require a specific material. We have you covered and offer a range of materials which we will construct your unique dampers from.

These include:

  • Mild Steel / Carbon Steel
  • Stainless Steel
  • Nickel Alloys
  • Duplex Stainless Steel
  • Aluminium

Controls

Discover the types of control methods that we offer for single blade dampers and how they can be best suited for your business.

Choose from:

  • Manual.
  • Actuated Electric / Pneumatic / Hydraulic.
  • Position Control, Switch feedback.
  • Multiple Switch Options Including V3 Mechanical, P&F Sensors, Magnum XT90.
  • ATEX Certification: Eexd, Eexia, Eexme.

Additional Features

There may be certain applications which require a more specialist solution. Rest assured that we're able to create a one-off solution for your airflow issues.

An example of what we're able to offer as add-ons to your dampers include;

  • Food quality materials.
  • High-temperature bearings.
  • Factory pressure testing.
  • 100% seal arrangement.
  • Soft seals where necessary.

Industrial Single Blade Dampers

The simplest of flow restrictors as their control is due entirely to producing an increase in system resistance to reduce pressure or volume.

Most effective when used as an open or closed device. Our Blade form ensures very little pressure drop across the blade and good flow characteristics downstream.

Not suitable for modulating control as the volume passed rises very quickly as the damper starts to open, and little change is produced over the last 30 degrees of opening.

With a damper of this type partially open, the flow downstream is very turbulent, initially with little of the mass flow down the centre of the duct. It takes a length of about 10 duct diameters for the flow to homogenise.

They can be supplied for high temperature operations and supplied like all our dampers with Actuation and controls to suit any exacting requirement.
